1) I believe the trophy belt has a hidden attachment on the backside of the belt.

	2) The Pantone cape color I would select would be similar to 574-C

	3) It's unclear where the cape attaches on the left side, but it is certainly attached due to the way to drapes in some pictures. I researched why the attachments would be at different heights and all I could find is due to drawing a weapon easier.

[DRAFT] Chussido: The Mandalorian CRL

https://thebhg.net/forum/index.php?/topic/8799-draft-chussido-the-mandalorian-crl/&do=findComment&comment=85775

@Madrox Hello again, I'm working on Chussido's CRL section by section

	Flight suit

I'm still learning, but to my understanding Pantone colors have different categories.

	1) For the Flight Suit I believe this navy blue apparel/ textile color might work: Pantone 19-3832 TPB/TCX Navy Blue

	2) For the red striping I believe Pantone 19-1760 Scarlet

	3) I have a pic showing a thin "piping" red line running in between the 2 wider red stripes. The picture is in this thread somewhere. The system won't let me upload the pic here at the moment.

	4) I believe the ribs at the shoulder to collar area are similar to the Skeleton Crew AdAttin high school jacket's shoulders. The picture is in this thread somewhere.

	5) You can delete the Optional Level Two Certification

What is this?

[DRAFT] Chussido: The Mandalorian CRL

https://thebhg.net/forum/index.php?/topic/8799-draft-chussido-the-mandalorian-crl/&do=findComment&comment=85774

Hello @Madrox and thank you for moving this new CRL for Chussido along!!

	Head / Mask

	1) For Pantone colors on Chussido's mask here are my suggestions: Base is a dark yellow: PMS 116-C, Bumps on Head Dark Brown: PMS 4625-C ,

White highlights: Patone 11-0601 TPB Bright White, Red across forehead: PMS 1805-C

	2) Under header titled Head (Mask) - bullet # 4: the color listed is for a Patone purple and I believe it should be Pantone Black 6 or similar code for black.

	3) Regarding the below: Chussido's eyes are black, and we cannot see a faceted texture or honeycomb affect behind her eyes. I believe this was accidentally copied over from Greedo's CRL, and the same goes for the ridges...

Optional for level 2 certification Do we see either of these for certain on Chussido?

Eyes have a visible “bug-eye” honeycomb or faceted texture behind the translucent dark purple spheres.

I have finally finished the jetpack from 3dchameleon and mounting it using the back brace apparatus (using hooks at top and screws/flat plate at bottom). I have made straps for the back brace bracket and now it's time to cut into my costume. Specifically on the back at the top for the upper brace hooks that lock into the top of the jetpack to poke through.

This is a project I am doing entirely myself. Due to my height (150 cm / 4’11”), some parts have been scaled and adjusted to fit me properly.

	Main materials:

	Flight Suit:

Kaltex Twill Dusty Olive Fabric, 100% cotton, 7.2 oz (64"). I used 3 yards.

The Dusty Olive color shifts depending on lighting, sometimes appearing more grey or more green. I added subtle medium grey tones to bring it closer to the on-screen “Beluga” tone.

	Patterns:
Sionnach Studios patterns for the flight suit and apron, with some modifications for better fit.

Leather parts (apron, belt, shoulder armor):
Made from real leather in different shades (brown and burgundy) and varying thickness depending on the piece.

	Spats and gauntlet:
Suede leather in brown and burgundy tones.

	Gloves:
	Suede falconry gloves.

	Helmet:

Cast resin kit from GEC Props, based on a Mystery Makers design.

Assembly and painting done by myself.

	Armor, spikes, hammer, and tools:
3D printed parts (files from 3D Cauldron).

	Belt parts:
Files by Michaela (closest match I could find and best fit for my reference).

	3D printing:

All parts are being printed by Yiyo’s Forge Works, who is also designing the small bottle for the back of the belt.

	Boots:
Still deciding whether to modify a pair I already own or purchase new ones.

	Cape:
Tibetan lamb fur in caramel color.
Still needs dyeing/painting to add sand, dark brown, and black tones to match reference images.

There are some holes to fill and some questions to answer still but here is the V1 Draft for us to work from. i've outlined some questions I have in red. Areas that need a Pantone color chosen are highlighted in purple.

	Chussido

Chussido, a former Cloud Rider, is a female Rodian Bounty Hunter. She frequented the cantina on Nevarro and accepted an open bounty contract on a Mandalorian bounty hunter known as Din Djarin when he refused to return a force sensitive infant to his employer. A battle between Din Djarin and a large number of members from the Bounty Hunter’s Guild broke out in the streets of Nevarro as Din attempted to escape to his ship with the infant. Chussido met her end during the battle when Din shot her with his Amban Pulse Rifle, completely disintegrating the Rodian bounty hunter.

	Head (Mask)

Chussido’s mask is painted using a variety of earth tones similar to XXXX, XXXX, and XXXX according to visual references.

The mask for Chussido is a distinctive variation on the classic Rodian design. It features several specific weathering and anatomical details that set it apart from “traditional” Rodians like Greedo.

Mask, made of latex, silicone, or other similar materials and features a distinct “Hero” sculpt with a narrower snout and more pronounced brow ridges.

Eyes are large, dark black half-spheres, similar to PMS 276-C, and full conceal the costumer’s eyes.

The eyes are large, multifaceted midnight black domes and are highly reflective.

Chussido’s head lacks the “mohawk” of spine-like tentacles on the top of the head that are present on other Rodians such as Greedo.

2 bands of red and white war paint run across the face from ear to ear.

The red band is approximately 3in wide and centered mostly across the eyes and some of the brow.

A thinner white band, approximately 1in wide, runs directly above the red band.

Chussido has a long, tapered, pale yellow snout with a small, circular mouth at the tip.

Two prominent “antennae” protrude from the top of each side of the head end in flared, cup-like suction tips.

Small, pointed ears are situated on the sides of the head, swept slightly back.

Bumpy, “pebbled” scales are visible on the forehead and top of the head.

Optional for level 2 certification Do we see either of these for certain on Chussido?

Eyes have a visible “bug-eye” honeycomb or faceted texture behind the translucent dark purple spheres.

Ridges (eyelids) are sculpted at the top and bottom of the eye orbits.

	Flight suit

Flight suit is made of medium weight cotton or cotton/poly blend with a matte finish.

Flight suit is navy blue, similar to PMS XXX, with scarlet red, similar to PMS XXX, racing strips running down the outside of the arm.

Can be one or two-piece construction, a two-piece construction gives the appearance of being one piece when worn.

Flight suit zips up the front ending at a mandarin style collar.

Two vertical scarlet red stripes, approximately 2in (mm) wide, run down the outside of each sleeve from shoulder to wrist. Piping?

Stripes are spaced approximately 2in (mm) apart on each sleeve.

		Red ribs at collar?

Three PMS XXX navy blue “ammo” loops are present on the sleeve just above the elbow holding teeth, or claw-like, objects of varying size according to visual references.

Right arm loops contain two teeth, or claws, in the top two loops with the bottom loop empty.

	Optional Level Two Certification
Top stitch, orange suit body? What is this?

	Jerkin

A long Jerkin made of heavy duty quilted padded cotton duck or canvas material is worn over the flight suit.

		Jerkin has the following features:

				Square neck opening

				Short cap sleeves

				Heavy batting

				Bound edges

Jerkin extends down to just above the wearer’s knees.

Front of the Jerkin is slightly shorter than the back of the vest.

Jerkin consists of quilted vertical rows of rectangles with each row containing 10 quilted rectangles.

Top row at the neck opening consists of rectangles in an off-white/cream color.

Second and third rows from the top are in a weathered red color, similar to the stripes of the flight suit sleeves.

The bottom 4 rows are in a weathered charcoal gray color.

Back of the Jerkin follows the same pattern and colors as the front

Bottom of the Jerkin is finished with a wide hem/banding approximately 1.5in wide

Sides of the Jerkin are tied together using 1/4in leather lashing cord that crisscrosses from under the arm ending at the belt area.

A black, or dark colored, “D” ring hook is present on the right cap sleeve attached via a small strip of dark gray nylon webbing approximately 1in (mm) wide and 3.5in (mm) long.

Nylon webbing is stitched to the vest with crossed “X” stitch lines inside a set of rectangle stitch lines.

All edges feature prominent double stitching in a color matched or slightly lighter thread

	Belt and Accessories

A thick tan, or sand, colored belt made of leather, or leather like material approximately 2.25in (mm) high is worn at the waist over the Jerkin.

Belt is a double hole belt with approximately eight sets of double holes in the front.

Belt secures right over left using a double prong weathered brass belt buckle, similar in style to a Sam Browne buckle.

A slightly darker in color leather, or leather-like belt loop sits on the belt just passed the double holes on each side of the belt.

On the right hip hangs an off-white weathered knife sheath made of leather or leather like material that extends to approximately the same length as the front of the jerkin.

Sheath tip has a sharp angle transition from the back of the sheath to the front point.

Draped twice over the sheath is stitched thick round leather cording with one cord draped over the middle of the sheath and the other cord draped lower towards the bottom of the sheath.

A large loop is tied into the cord in front of the sheath which then terminates up under the belt.

Cord terminates in the back up under the belt without any visible means of attachment.

On the left hip, just behind the belt loop, hangs black and off-white hair trophies.

Hair is loose and unbraided, unlike what is seen on OT Boba Fett

Hair trophies appear to attach to a pair of vertebrae style bones through the holes of the spinal cord.

Vertebrae bones are configured so that they form an upside down “V” and attach to the belt with no visible means of attachment. How should these attach to the belt?

	Cape

A dark gray-green cape (similar to PMS XXX), constructed of a heavyweight, textured fabric such as coarse woold blend, heavy linen, or a treated canvas is worn on the back.

Heavy sun bleaching and dust weathering is present on the cape, particularly along the hems and shoulder areas.

Cape has the appearance of a significant weight, or heft allowing for natural deep folds.

Cape ends roughly mid-calf or near the top of the boots.

Cape is worn asymmetrically so that the right side extends slightly lower than the left side.

Cape is attached to the “D” ring on the right shoulder using a black metallic clasp similar to a lobster clasp snap hook.

Cape droops very low on the back, exposing the entire back of the vest and some of the belt and attaches on the left shoulder. Do we know how this attaches on the left?

Bottom hem of the cape has noticeable fraying.

	Gloves

Plain, black leather, or leather like gauntlet style gloves.

No logos or branding is visible on the gloves when worn.

Gloves are long enough to extend into the flight suit sleeve ensuring no skin is visible.

The thumb side of each glove has a side lace closure.

	Necklace

A necklace comprising of teeth/horns of varying sizes and length is worn around the neck.

Necklace is long enough that most of the teeth/horns drape across the first quilted section of the vest.

Teeth/horns have a weathered ivory appearance.

Necklace has a weathered beige or tan cord.

Necklace is comprised of the following adornments from left to right.

Four small teeth/horns of similar shape and size

One large tooth/horn approximately 1.5x the length of the small teeth/horns.

Two small teeth/horns similar in size and shape to the first set of four.

One larger tooth/horn, slightly smaller than the first large tooth/horn.

2 black stripes approximately .25in (mm) equally spaced, encircle the tooth/horn towards the top.

Two small teeth/horns, similar in size and shape to the first set of four, are the pair in the center of the necklace.

Left side of the necklace follows this same pattern ending in four smaller teeth/horns.

A small beige or sand colored bead separates each tooth/horn.

	Boots

Brown, mid-calf, leather or leather-like boots with a flat heel.

A strap wraps around the top of the boot on the outside.

Flight suit legs are tucked into the boot.

A hidden zipper is located on the inside of boot leg.

Boots are heavily weathered from a sandy brown color at the top to dark brown at the toe.

Tattered and weathered cloth strips wrap around the boot approximately 6 times just above the ankle.

OPTIONAL Level two certification (if applicable):

		Boots are made of leather.

Po-Zu Well-2 boots are an example of an acceptable style.

	Optional Accessories
Items below are optional costume accessories. These items are not required for approval, but if present appears as described below. If adding in an accessory after initial approval, the item still needs to be submitted to local GML for approval before use.

	Knife

A fixed blade knife with a broken back seax style point matching the shape and size of the sheath.

Knife has a full, skeletonized curved tang wrapped with flat weathered leather, or leather like cording.

An approximate 2in(mm) section at the end of the knife butt is void of any cording and is exposed metal.

A small hole is visible in the exposed section of the knife butt

A small pommel is present at the end of the knife butt.

Knife is not seen outside of the sheath so knife and sheath may be integrated into a single piece as a non-functional accessory.

	D12 Heavy Blaster Pistol

Blaster pistol is a modified black D12 Heavy Blaster based off a Ruger Mk. 1 with long plain dual barrels.

A set of iron sights are present at the rear of the barrels.

You are correct regarding the necklace render and thank you for catching that! I won't be using that necklace render for Chussido. Instead, Jordan Samuel of the 501st from Canada has agreed to make the necklace. He has a near perfect match on his instagram "makeupjordan". He recently won an Academy Award in the category Best Makeup for the 2025 film Frankenstein. I tried to upload a pic but the BHG system won't let me upload pics at the moment. I have a pic of him on the 2nd page of this thread and his Tognath "Two Tubes" Edrio costume showing his similar bone necklace as Chussido's. The bones are laid out in a different pattern, but they are of the exact same style.

Costume question from new guy.

https://thebhg.net/forum/index.php?/topic/8790-costume-question-from-new-guy/&do=findComment&comment=85717

Outstanding mate "you've taken your first steps into a much larger world"

I started building The Armorer about two years ago, but for different reasons I had to put it on hold. I have now decided to pick it back up and complete it.

I will be sharing progress here, including parts and accessories currently in progress. I am mainly working from series reference images and the available CRL.

Came across more details as I put this CRL draft together. This one focusing on the necklace.

Your render above shows a very intricate method of attaching each tooth/horn to the necklace by lacing them together around and inbetween. I do not think this is necessary. From the references I am looking at, it appears to be a very simple method of stringing these items onto the necklace. As simple as each tooth/horn having a hole at the top and the cord going through that hole.

In both of these photos, especially the bottom one, what I see is that each object on the necklace is held by running the cord through a hole at the top. Each item touches the item next to it on both sides without any complex weaving or wrapping separating them. If anything, there may be a small bead between each tooth/horn.

The cord itself also appears to be more a beige, tan, or sandy color rather than the darker color seen in your render.

Costume question from new guy.

https://thebhg.net/forum/index.php?/topic/8790-costume-question-from-new-guy/&do=findComment&comment=85709

Thanks so much for the encouragement!
