  3. Slightly different angles but to me I felt like I was able to match up a fair amount of damage. It's especially the diagonal slashes that seem different. Thanks for the input and feedback though. I will keep searching for and studying more references out there. Maybe what I was seeing on the Celebration display was additional damage that was incurred in season 3.
  4. I've found that I can't match any of the damage on the Celebration display to still of Season 2 Bo-katan, however it does seem to match the season 3 appearance of the character. For season 2 there's a very different damage pattern on the back . The same thing is true for the rest of the armor parts if compared to their appearance on screen.
  5. I am beginning work on my helmet and I'm struggling a bit with the back. I would eventually like to achieve Infamous level approval, which I know requires 100% screen accurate damage. The problem I'm running into is that Bo is only in 2 episodes of season 2 and both episodes include a lot of dark lighting with fast movement. I have studied many screen grabs and re-watched both episodes numerous times. I am never able to view a clear head on shot of the back of her helmet. Would I be able to consider the photos from Celebration of The Mandalorian Experience 100% screen accurate, as the costume is stated to have been worn by Katee Sackhoff? Or is there a different standard set for that? My question also applies for the remaining armor and leather goods. Thank you for any help anyone can provide.
  6. Hi My name is Tate. I'm working on Axe Woves from Season 2. I noticed Axe had a Data Spike. I would like to know what color should it be?

    Thanks,

  7. Thank you Deborah! Krayt Clan makes much more sense.
  8. I sent them an email and they will be following up with detachments about who might be interested in the CRL! Fingers crossed

  10. Hello! Underworld have not been allocated this costume variant. Our assumption is that the character is placed with Krayt Clan, given Boba's ties to the Tuskens, but we have advised @Krekkles556 to reach out to lmo@501st.com for confirmation.
  11. You are correct, it's a sash! I wasn't sure it would work, but thanks for reassuring me! I hope to one day have a proper kilt to wear, but the work on that one is a little intimidating and the material is expensive!
  12. oooh JJ is making bits that is exciting!!!! Great looking pic at the parade, the sash (sorry if this isn't the right word) actually works so so well
  13. Using my grid technique and using both a scaled to actual height version of The Armorer promo shots for Emily's actual height and my actual height, I approximated the proper scale for everything so I can figure out what size to print the belt parts at. I will be using JJ Industries belt files which haven't been released yet, but can already tell you they look much better, and I included what his full-sized prop measurements are for comparison. The belt greeblies weren't easy to measure given the angle of the pics so there may be some inaccuracies on my end, there's a bit of a range there. I do really like that his larger belt box is hollow because I'd really like to carve out the "slits" and mount speaker fabric inside so I can put my voice amplifier in there. And just for funsies, trooped in the St. Pats parade downtown yesterday. The only casually was my cheap voice amplifier, and the shoe sole rubber I glued to my current toes. When I reprint the new ones, I'm going to print a new sole directly to it. Going to do flexible filament tests this week.
  14. It is the lighting, they're directly overhead, and I did have some beskar poking through the paint weathering but remember, I am printing new toes for this crl and it's going to be in flexible filament so it will be duller. I have a filament dryer coming today and I have to do some test prints as I've never used flexible before. I'll be printing the toes I posted about earlier after I make a few more tweaks to my model.
  15. Good Idea getting photos, kitted up to test the weathering. Many times I have weathered, stepped back thought it looked great, when I'm all kitted up its not as noticeable , compared to when the piece was photographed separate. Both are looking much better. Just a note, it might be the lighting, your toe caps even though they are weathered still have a shine, they should be duller.
  16. Those do look good! Are you going to put the velcro for the knee armor on them?
  17. Hi Krekkle, the CRL for this costume should be in development with the Underworld Detachment.
  18. Boot covers from crow props have arrived and they look and fit amazing!
  19. Hi, i'm relatively new to the costuming world but want to give it a go! I previously purchased a bunch of Boba Fresh materials but wanted to shift the direction to Boba's Tusken Robe attire. Does anyone have any information if this topic has been previously suggested or if anyone has started compiling information towards a project like this? anything and everything would be helpful! I've noticed there isn't a CRL for it but would consider working towards making one if I can get enough information compiled.

  21. Thanks for the feedback! Working on this and several other projects at once... I finally was able to get a new web host so let me know if the pics are showing up ok. I added some watered down acrylics to the pauldrons. Added some staining on the boot covers with some antiquing gel. I had the "mud splatters" on there before, but I'll probably add more to it. I was at Planet Comicon this weekend and had a friend snap a quick photo, the staining on the front shows up better, I can add more to it if necessary. Forgive the over-bright convention lighting. I was hoping the maker of my original belt greeblie files was going to update them as he said he would, but I've heard nothing yet. As I am working on the tongs, I'm hoping to paint everything at the same time in chrome so I guess I'm going to give 3D modelling those myself a go. I didn't want to do any adjusting to the belt until I'm able to get the greeblies to size the straps to.
  22. Hey Guys, I am pretty sure the base armor is Jango Fett armor. There are some pieces such as gauntlets and greebs that may be different. But the base is Jango Fett. The jetpack is a season 3 Mando body in Axe Woves style. I am still working on the rocket toppers and thrusters but am 99.9 percent sure they are the same as Axe. the paint on the figure does not match 100% with the screen used armor. maybe with the scarce screenshots we have and the figure we could piece together something that is CRL worthy?
  23. Another test fitting and much happier with how it looks now Sent from my SM-S918U using Tapatalk
  24. I've definitely done some digging and haven't gotten much more than what anyone else would find. I even scrubbed through the end credits for this episode hoping they'd name some of the stunt actors who wore these suits. We might've been able to reach out and maybe start a conversation about the costumes, but they just listed all the stunt performers as a group and didn't attribute any singular person to a character. There was 1 female stunt performer (Alica Vela-Bailey) who posted a photo of one of the female Mandalorian from the show as part of her convention circuit promotion. Unfortunately , it was only from the front and from the waist up. Not enough to work with. Hoping a Gallery episode airs and/or more stunt people release some BTS stuff. We have enough to tease us but not enough to work with.
  25. Not much to find on this guy. The first image shows him leaning forward and it looks to me that the back plate is likely red and the jetpack I’m thinking is black/ gray with red for the rocket top and tank tops. The second image there’s a slight flash of light showing what looks to be red chest armor. I’m not sure if it’s solid red or if it’s red and black. Like the CW version. The third image looking closely it’s looking like red shin armor. It’s a little blurry but that’s what I see. The knee armor I believe is black/ gray same as the shoulder bells as they don’t seem as bright as what the parts that appear red do. I know in previous posts supplements were mentioned. Which is why I’ve also attached images of the Clone Wars version. While they aren’t identical in every way there’s lots of similarities between the two for comparison. At least more so than the image of the toy figure in the OP. I’d love to get thoughts and opinions on this guy from others. I wish there was more to go on but unfortunately until we see some kind of BTS images of the character or the screen used costume on display somewhere speculation is all we have..
  26. some progress on the sculpt for the new mask.. the interior you see between the eyelid and the eye is the insert for the lenses. with the lenses on, you will not see it https://drive.google.com/file/d/1c70F6jeIwyjVTmEpFk1qUCJ-MfFwoXRT/view?usp=drivesdk https://drive.google.com/file/d/1wuEcC2MLK2MTVU5rzDCJlkzSAsAXvvV-/view?usp=drivesdk
  27. 100% agree. Would love to see more of these guys in live action. I was hoping that a Gallery episode(s) on Ahsoka would release on Disney+ and we'd see some BTS shots that would give us the references we need to make a CRL with. But that hasn't happened, at least not yet. Fingers crossed that one still airs at some point.
  28. I actually noticed that myself the closer I looked I thought the figure was based on the on screen that’s the only reason I used the image of the figure. I really hope we see more of these guys in future Star Wars media. I loved the Maul Commandos in the Clone Wars and I love seeing animated characters coming to live action. Having said that I’d like to see the figure become a character cause I honestly prefer his paint scheme.
  29. Looking closely at the photos in the OP, these are not the same character. The color scheme and armor is different. Because of this, the toy would not be used to supplement the screen shot and vice versa. The gauntlets of the toy are red, whereas the screen is black/silver. The shoulder armor is red on the toy but gray on the screenshot. The helmet of the toy has a large spike dead center on the forehead of the helmet, the screenshot does not. There also appears to be the possibility of red thigh armor on the screenshot and the toy wears no thigh armor. The jetpack in the screenshot appears to be mostly red and the toy has more of a gray jetpack. I was disappointed that the toy was not based on the guy in the screenshot. I wish it was because that guy is really cool looking. If they had, we could definitely make a CRL happen.
